Yoga & Sound Meditation

Come experience a state of deep relaxation and meditation. Feel a renewed sense of being truly alive!

The focus will be on gentle yoga and breathwork followed by a full immersion into the rich sounds of the gong, singing bowls, shruti box and more. Don’t miss this opportunity for mental & physical reset.

Thomasina and Bob Fisk are mind body enthusiasts with backgrounds in yoga instruction, music and mental health. They have been called to the power of sound through personal experience with the instruments and training in a variety of wellness modalities.

The sounds created by the instruments can provide the mind with a break from thinking patterns that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, depression and sleep disturbances.
Allow the sounds and vibrations of the instruments to assist you in releasing what no longer serves you. Give yourself permission to create space for the new!

What to bring: Yoga mat, water bottle, blanket, pillow or cushion and eye mask if desired.

When: Sunday July 22nd from 4:30-6:00pm; there will be 30 minutes of gentle yoga and breathwork followed by 60 minutes of sound meditation.  Please note, the yoga space at Amery Ale Works is located on the upper floor of an old bar(n) and is a fairly warm space in the hot summer months.

Class Cost is $30.  Pre-register and purchase your ticket online.

Live Music: Miss Myra and The Moonshiners

Miss Myra is a threat on every level. Her golden voice will bring you from rock bottom to ecstasy and back while her driving guitar rhythm holds the Moonshiners together. Her style of hard hitting swing guitar is reminiscent of Django Reinhardt. She also draws influence from legendary blues guitarists such as Leadbelly and Blind Boy Fuller. If you let her near a piano, you'll hear virtuosity from ragtime to Lizst. In addition to her musical talent, she is known for lighting up the dance floor with tradtional American jazz dances such as lindy hop, charleston and blues.

Miss Myra and the Moonshiners will be live at the Ale Works Bar(n) on Saturday July 7th from 7:00-9:30pm.  Weather permitting, the full band will be outside on the patio.  Come enjoy a wonderful jazz music, delicious food and a pint.
